Iran’s Tafresh County in Markazi Province is known as a cradle of Iranian scholars.

Tafresh lies 2,000 meters above sea level and is surrounded by mountains and known for its pleasant weather.

The county is famous for its natural attractions such as valleys, peaks and caves, as well as its numerous historical sites such as the underground city, and Shesh Nav Mosque.

Tafresh is known as the cradle of Iranian scholars as over 22 scientists as well as other prominent figures in several fields such as art and literature grew up in the county.
